We travel anywhere in Scotland to deliver training courses to suit your needs, and training is delivered onsite so it is specific to your machines, your products and your environment.
ACCREDITED FLT COURSES
We deliver fully accredited courses in accordance with guidelines set out by the Association of Industrial Truck Trainers (AITT) and the Approved Code of Practice (ACOP).
These courses range from 4 hours to 5 days depending on the course type and delegate experience.
Our in-house courses are designed to offer training that is suited more to the customers’ requirements and doesn’t have to adhere to the timeframes set out by the various accreditation bodies in the UK.
These courses still give delegates certification and demonstrate they are competent and can operate FLTs safely in the workplace.
We can deliver courses to suit your shift requirements, so if your selected delegates are on backshift or nightshift, we will deliver the course whenever required.
This reduces disruption to delegates' shift patterns and reduces the chance of tiredness after changing shift, which allows the delegates to fully focus on understanding the course content.
At Direct Lifting Solutions we are committed to delivering a training environment where delegates always feel valued and safe.
Our aim is to champion diversity, build an inclusive attitude and show that everyone deserves the same equal opportunities no matter what their background.
Our instructors are highly experienced both operating and teaching FLT, we come from various backgrounds from the oil and gas industry to manufacturing and warehouse environments.
This gives us a diverse skill set, which allows us to teach delegates the theory on how to fully understand the characteristics of their truck and the practical skills required to safely operate any FLT in their working environment confidently and safely.
Our instructors are trained to the required industry standards to deliver training in accordance with guidelines set out by the ASSOCIATION OF INDUSTRIAL TRUCK TRAINERS (AITT) and the APPROVED CODE OF PRACTICE (ACOP).
Once delegates have passed the required test criteria on the course they have attended they will be issued with a certificate to show they have completed the course and passed the required tests.
